USHBC seeks a qualified contractor to conduct promotional activities for fresh blueberries in South Korea during the 2015 season, which is anticipated to run from June to September 2015.
Specific Reference Activities:
>Trade Seminar. Selected vendor will orchestrate a pre-season seminar on fresh blueberries which will include selecting a venue, preparation of event including invitation of attendees which will include importers, retailers and other channel partners. Goal is for around 30 attendees. Selected vendor will arrange a presentation on fresh blueberries with input from USHBC. At the end of the activity, selected vendor will prepare a report on the activity including contact names, photos and comments and evaluations of the activity.
>Marketing Assistance. Selected vendor will serve as prime in country contractor for a four month fresh blueberry promotion in South Korea. This will include development of a in-store promotion plan with a goal of 300 plus promotion days, develop a comprehensive public relations plan for the fresh market activities including media coverage, in store events, online marketing and blog activity. Selected vendor will be paid a set fee for the activity which will be separate from subcontracted activities outlined in an activity plan. Activities for subcontracted work to suppliers such as in store demonstrators, public relations firms and other service and materials suppliers will be solicited through competitive bid for best value for USHBC and the prime vendor will handle payments to the subcontractors and provide payment vouchers and receipts for payment to USHBC.
Contractor will provide a statement of qualifications, a detailed proposal of implementation of this activity and proposed costs. Contractors are encouraged to provide recommendations for strategies and implementation. Proposals should be submitted electronically to Thomas J.
